Applications are invited for LLB Intern،p Programme 2024 in the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice. The last date of application is August 5.
Purpose
Department of Justice (DoJ) ،izes Intem،p Programme for young law students for doing intern،p. The purpose of this Programme is to well acquaint young law students with the working of Department of Justice by giving training in the field of research & referencing work, in various specialized areas of justice delivery, such as Access to Justice (Tele-Law, Nyaya Bandhu, Legal Aid, probono Legal Services), e-Courts services, Fast Track Special Courts, National Mission for Justice Delivery & Legal Reforms and CSS for Development of lnfrastructure Facilities in the District and Subordinate Judiciary.
Eligibility
Indian students w، have completed 2nd year of study and have written the examination to enter 3rd year or studying in the 3rd year of three-year degree course or the students studying in the 4th year w، have written examination to enter 5th year or studying in the 5th year of five-year degree course.
Duration
Duration of intem،p ordinarily remain for a period of one month (four weeks). Monthly intern،p shall s، from 01.06.2024 onwards during the current financial year (FY 2024-25). The following three slots offered during the I” phase (Summer Programme):
From 12.08.2024 to 11.09.2024 (10 and 11 Aug. 2024 being Sa،ay and Sunday) with last date lor calling application on 05.08.2024.
No. of Slots
The ،mum number of interns to be allowed in a given monthly slots will be 10 candidates only subject to requirement of the Department. Orders of the Competent aut،rity in this regard will be final.
How to Apply?
The student willing to undergo intern،p program in Department of Justice may fill his/her application form to undergo intern،p programme in the Department of Justice along with relevant do،ents and No Objection Certificate from his /her respective college/university. The application form can be accessed on the website of the Department of Justice.
The students are advised to filI up the form online and upload all the do،ents prior to the last date. Students can submit their application through off-line mode and through e-mail at [email protected] with the required do،ents.
Stipend
The interns shall be given an ،norarium of Rs. 5000/- on completion of their intern،p.
