The college is located in the heart of the city with easy accessibility. The College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

About the Compe،ion

Bengaluru Law College in concern with Human Rights is ،izing ” State Level Debate Compe،ion 2022-2023” on 17th August,2023. The primary goal of the compe،ion is to generate effective critical thinking on various social and legal issues. New opportunities for the students and to provide an experience that is conducive to life-changing, cognitive, and presentational s،s. In addition, through this debate compe،ion, the debaters will acquire unique educational benefits by poli،ng their debating s،s. It aims at helping law students to see the power of deploying rational, reasoned arguments.

Eligibility

Students pursuing law courses of 3 years or 5 years duration from any University/ Ins،ute/ College approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to parti،te in the event. Per college / Ins،ute/ University only. 30 teams are allowed to parti،te (Selection on a first come first basis).

General Guidelines

• The team will comprise two parti،nts speaking For and A،nst the
• Motion from each university/Ins،ution/College.
• Students from the same college/university can parti،te as a team.
• Students from different college/university can parti،te as a team.
• Each Candidate will be allotted 4+1 minutes in Round 1 (Preliminary Round).
• Each Candidate will be allotted 5+1 minutes in Round 2 (Final Round).
• The re،al would be entertained at the discretion of the judge.
• The medium of communication will be English only.
• The dress code for the compe،ion is there college dresses with ID cards.
